Smooth tick-to-tick candle animation (interpolated rendering)

Currently, when the market moves fast, the last candle updates in abrupt jumps rather than a smooth motion. Even with "Customizable update frequency" (Chart Custom FPS) set to a higher Minimum, the chart still re-renders the price at discrete, instant steps rather than transitioning between the previous and new price.

Request: Add an interpolated/animated rendering mode for the live candle, where the price movement between two ticks is smoothly animated over a short duration (e.g. 50-150ms) instead of snapping instantly to the new value.

This would make fast market moves visually easier to follow and read, especially during high-volatility periods (news releases, opens, liquidations), without changing the actual OHLC data - purely a rendering/UX improvement.

Suggested implementation: an optional (e.g. "interpolated rendering") in the same Update frequency section of Visual Settings, independent option

    candle tick updates

I noticed that when the update frequency (Chart) is set to the minimum value, it also seems to affect chart FPS while scrolling through historical data, causing small freezes/stutters. Would it be possible for the team to make this setting affect only candle tick updates and not chart rendering performance? Alternatively, it would be great to have candle tick updates as a standalone setting with a simple min-max slider. That would provide much better customization and be easier on the eyes.

    Why this matters beyond aesthetics

Smooth, animated price transitions aren't just a cosmetic preference - they measurably reduce cognitive load during active trading. Abrupt, jump-cut updates are processed by the visual system as discrete "events" that demand attention, even when there's no new decision-relevant information. During fast markets, when these jumps happen rapidly and repeatedly, they create a constant stream of low-level attentional interruptions that accumulate into visual fatigue - often without the trader consciously noticing it in the moment.

Smooth motion, by contrast, is easier for the brain to track: it allows the visual system to extrapolate a trajectory rather than re-parsing a completely new state from scratch on every update. This is a well-established principle in UI/UX and motion design - animated transitions consistently reduce perceived effort and fatigue compared to instant state changes.

After implementing a custom indicator with interpolated candle rendering, I've noticed a subjectively clearer read on market flow and less fatigue during high-volatility periods, particularly on fast, choppy moves where the raw tick-by-tick jumps previously felt disorienting. This isn't just a "nice to have" visual effect - for a platform built around fast decision-making under time pressure, reducing unnecessary visual noise is directly relevant to trader performance and endurance during long sessions.
