Automatic Lot Size Calculation based on Dollar ($) Risk

I recently shifted from DeepCharts by Volumetrica to ATAS because of various good reviews and I love it but ATAS allows users to set a Stop Loss in terms of ticks/ However, this does not adjust the Position Size by Money.

The user still has to manually calculate how many lots to trade to ensure that their risk stays within that dollar amount.

I am requesting a feature similar to "Deep Trades" or "Risk Managers" where the Lot Size is automatically calculated based on the Stop Loss distance.

How it should work:

  1. Set Risk Amount: The user inputs a fixed dollar amount they are willing to lose (e.g., $500 USD).

  2. Define SL Distance: The user picks their Stop Loss level on the chart.

  3. Auto-Calculation: The platform automatically adjusts the Quantity (Lots/Contracts) before the trade is placed.

    • Example: If the SL is 10 ticks away, the lot size will be larger. If the SL is 50 ticks away, the lot size will be smaller, ensuring the loss always equals exactly $500.

Why this is important:

  • Speed: In fast-moving markets, traders don't have time to use a calculator to find the correct lot size.

  • Risk Management: It prevents human error and over-leveraging, ensuring the trader never risks more than their defined plan.

  • Consistency: It allows for a "set and forget" approach to risk per trade.

This feature would significantly improve the order execution workflow for professional traders using ATAS.
