Give me my pitchfork
Hi there,
I’d like to have Andrew's Pitchfork drawing tool in ATAS. It is a tool I use extensively. Taradingview has it and though I transitioned to ATAS, this is the only reason I keep Taradingview open.
It would be awesome to have it.
Thanks…

Pitchfork Tool
I'd like to submit a feature request for a comprehensive Andrews median-line geometry toolset within ATAS X.
DRAWING TOOLS REQUESTED
───────────────────────
• Andrews Pitchfork
• Schiff Pitchfork
• Modified Schiff Pitchfork
• Inside Pitchfork
• Median Line Parallels
• Warning Lines
• Trigger Lines
FUNCTIONAL FEATURES
────────────────────
• Draggable anchor points
• Ray extension
• Snap to highs/lows
• Customizable styling
• Cloning & parallel tools
• Multi-timeframe persistence
• Alerts for median-line touches, breaks, and rejections
What makes this especially compelling within ATAS is the integration potential. Many discretionary traders — myself included — combine median-line geometry with order flow to identify confluence and probable reaction areas. Having pitchfork tools natively alongside footprint charts, delta, absorption, anchored VWAP, and volume profile would give ATAS something genuinely differentiated. Platforms like MotiveWave, TradingView, Sierra Chart, and Optuma already support median-line workflows, but none pair it with order flow the way ATAS could.
I reviewed the SDK documentation and didn't find a clear path to implementing drawing-tool geometry as a user. If that capability exists and I missed it, I'd genuinely appreciate a pointer — I'd be happy to take a crack at it. Otherwise, I hope this lands on the roadmap.
I'm also happy to contribute from a workflow or systems-design perspective if that's ever useful. I'm not an SDK developer, but I have technical design experience and I'm a committed, long-term ATAS user.
Thank you for your consideration.
Best regards,
Robert Fleming

I'd use this daily. Median-line geometry alongside ATAS order flow (footprint, delta, absorption, volume profile) would be genuinely differentiated — MotiveWave, TradingView, Sierra, and Optuma all do median lines, but none pair it with order flow the way ATAS could. Hoping this lands on the roadmap.

Implementation of Geometric Containment Tools (Andrews' Pitchfork & Linear Regression Channels)
The current lack of native geometric drawing objects (specifically Andrews' Pitchfork
https://www.tradingview.com/support/solutions/43000518141-pitchfork/ and Linear Regression Channels https://www.tradingview.com/support/solutions/43000644936-linear-regression/ ) forces users to switch to third-party charting platforms to identify structural barriers before returning to ATAS for the order flow trigger.
In a Hyper-Integration framework, these tools are used to identify Extrinsic Price Barriers (geometric and containment obstacles). Once price reaches these barriers, i' utilize ATAS’s superior order flow tools to analyze Intrinsic Properties (candle bias, volume symmetry, and delta acceleration). By integrating these structural tools, ATAS becomes an all-in-one platform for both Macro-Location and Micro-Execution. Thank you.

I put up a fuller request covering the whole Andrews median-line toolset — pitchfork variants, warning/trigger lines, draggable anchors, snap-to-swing, and alerts on median-line touches, breaks, and rejections — plus why it pairs so well with ATAS order flow. Might be worth consolidating support in one place: Pitchfork Tool. Either way, I'd use this daily.

Related request you might want to support — native Pitchfork / median-line tools for ATAS X: https://feedback.atas.net/p/pitchfork-tool — upvotes are what get features prioritized.

Here, here! I’ve even offered to develop it, but it’s going to require extended plugin access.
