Anchored Volume Profile for historical periods with presets and custom anchors

Right now Market Profile and Volume Profile in ATAS can show the current contract or the current week. Many traders need to anchor a profile to past fixed windows without changing symbols or slicing data manually. On TradingView and Sierra Chart we can anchor profiles to previous quarter previous month previous week and other custom starts. Bringing this to ATAS would help a lot.

Please add Anchored Volume Profile that lets us set any start date and time and also choose simple presets
• Previous quarter
• Previous month
• Previous week
• Year to date
• Previous contract
• Profile updates in real time and respects exchange sessions and rollover rules

    Volume Profile Anchors Should Snap to Candle Boundaries

    Hello ATAS Team,

    I would like to suggest a usability improvement for the Volume Profile drawing tool.

    Currently, when drawing or resizing a Volume Profile, the left and right boundaries can move freely between candles or extend beyond the intended range. This makes it difficult to identify exactly which bars are included in the profile calculation.

    It would be helpful to add an optional “Snap to Bars” or “Magnet Mode”, similar to TradingView’s Magnet Mode. The horizontal anchors would snap to the nearest candle or bar boundary, making the selected range clearer and more precise.

    Possible improvements could include:

    1. Snapping the left and right anchors to candle boundaries.

    2. Preventing the profile selection from extending beyond the selected bar range.

    3. Displaying the selected start and end date/time.

    4. Allowing the time range to be locked while resizing the price range.

    This could remain optional for users who prefer the current free-form behaviour.

    This request is not related to the Volume Profile calculation itself. It only concerns the drawing anchors, range selection and visual precision of the tool.

    I believe this would significantly improve usability, especially when profiling specific swings, sessions, consolidations or impulse moves. I will send screenshots from ATAS and one different platform.
