Risk Management Module
A Risk Management Module to track and protect the traders account.
A) In this module the user can set different PARAMETERS for each account. (Maybe in $ and/or in % based on Account size)
For example:
- Max Daily Loss Limit
- Max Weekly Loss Limit
- Max Trades a Day Limit
- Account Balance Limit
- Daily Profit Goal
B) and IF a parameter/limit is reached the trader can choose an option to protect his account.
For example:
- Warning Alert (Setting to modify your alarm sound)
- Lock Trading for XX minutes
- Close ATAS
- Custom Notification / Splash-screen
C) The User can Protect the Risk Management Tool with a password if he wants to change the parameters.
for example:
if Daily Loss is reached and the user emotionally wants to set the Loss Limit higher the Module is protected by a password, this would be an additional protection for the account.

extremely important and absolutely needed for a pro level futures trading platform, especially with more and more prop funded trading accounts being managed by retail traders. pls implement asap

Most important feature for me would be to set a % Risk and have ATAS automatically calculate the position size based on a predefined stop loss

This is needed ASAP. Very useful to have a nice Risk Management modul so it locks you out for a set amount of time.

This would be very useful for every Trader !!. In my Case its only possible to get an risk manager on Rithmic and this was nothing but Crap.

Hello,
I used to work with the Tradovate platform, which offered the following security features:
- it was possible to set the instrument(s) you wanted to use and it was not possible to change it inadvertently, you had to go to the security page;
- it was possible to set the maximum number of batches to be traded in the security page;
- it was possible to define a maximum daily and weekly loss in the security page;
Perhaps you can propose this development in your new versions ?
I love working with the ATAS environment, which is very easy and efficient to use.

The emotional risk manager module is the most important tool that the atas platform lacks to make traders profitable.
They should try to implement it as soon as possible.
I would recommend that atas programmers get inspired by Bruno Meza's emotional manager, from my point of view it is the most complete one that exists today.
