User-Code environment - Add Scripting Support for Custom Indicators, Alerts, and Logic

Hi ATAS team,

I’d like to propose a native scripting environment that allows users to code their own custom indicators, alerts, and analytical tools directly inside ATAS.

Right now, ATAS is a powerful platform for order flow and volume analysis, but it’s limited when it comes to user-driven customization. Many traders coming from platforms like NinjaTrader, Sierra Chart, Quantower, Motivewave and TradingView are used to writing their own scripts, whether to:

  • Create proprietary indicators

  • Code event-based alerts (e.g., price + delta + OI triggers)

  • Build trading strategies based on Smart Tape logic

  • Automate certain visual responses to market conditions

Suggested Features:

  • Scripting support in C#, Python, Java or a simple scripting language

  • Full access to:

    • Smart Tape

    • DOM data

    • Volume profiles, clusters, OI, etc.

  • Ability to plot custom indicators

  • Ability to generate alerts, sounds, or visual highlights

  • Secure sandboxing to protect platform performance

Giving power users and professionals this flexibility would help ATAS become the most customizable and advanced order flow platform on the market.

    Maybe also the ability to code automatic trading bots, this would be the most important feature of all. The ability to define fully custom automated trading logic, especially based on order flow mechanics, would allow traders to code and backtest their own strategies directly in ATAS without needing to use external tools. That level of flexibility would make ATAS stand out as not just a visual platform, but a programmable execution engine for high-level traders.
