Hello ATAS Team,
I'd like to share a small suggestion that could significantly improve the first experience for new dxFeed users.
Yesterday I subscribed to the dxFeed COMEX Market Depth package and opened the Heatmap for the first time. I was surprised to see only a few price levels above and below the market, so I initially assumed that my Market Depth subscription was not working correctly.
After some investigation, I discovered that the issue was caused by the "Use limited order book" option being enabled by default in the dxFeed connection settings.
Once I disabled this option, the full depth immediately became available and everything worked perfectly.
I believe many new users may experience the same confusion and conclude that the Market Depth subscription is limited or not functioning properly.
It might be worth considering one of the following improvements:
Disable "Use limited order book" by default for Market Depth connections, or
Display a warning or tooltip explaining that this option intentionally limits the visible order book depth.
I hope this feedback helps improve the onboarding experience for future users.
Thank you for your excellent platform and support.
