Assign Keyboard Shortcuts to Mouse Navigation Modes

I would like to suggest adding the ability to assign customizable keyboard shortcuts to the three mouse navigation modes available in ATAS X:

  • Zoom

  • Scroll

  • Zoom XY

Currently, switching between these modes requires opening the mouse mode menu on the chart toolbar and manually selecting the desired option. This interrupts the workflow, especially when analyzing charts or trading in fast-moving markets.

Proposed Solution

Please add three separate commands to the Keyboard Shortcuts settings, allowing users to assign their preferred keyboard shortcuts to each mouse mode.

For example:

  • Z — Zoom mode

  • X — Scroll mode

  • C — Zoom XY mode

These are only suggested defaults; users should be able to customize the shortcuts to suit their preferences and avoid conflicts with existing keyboard assignments.

When a shortcut is pressed, ATAS should immediately activate the corresponding mouse mode on the active chart, without requiring the user to open the toolbar menu.

Benefits

This enhancement would provide several advantages:

  1. Improved workflow efficiency: Traders could switch between navigation modes instantly.

  2. Better chart navigation: Users could move between zooming and scrolling without interrupting their analysis.

  3. Improved usability: Keyboard shortcuts would make chart navigation more accessible and convenient.

  4. Customization: Each trader could choose the key assignments that best fit their workflow.

This functionality would be particularly useful for traders who frequently switch between different chart navigation modes while analyzing price action, volume profiles, and footprint charts.

I believe this would be a practical usability improvement for ATAS X users.

Thank you for considering this feature request.
