User interface to easily define Criteria to trigger trades

One sorely missed feature here is the ability to trigger trades using specific criteria or specific indicators...this is possible with chart strategies, but requires a deep understanding of how to code. For the majority of people, simply having the ability to simply trigger a buy or a sell when a certain condition is met would be incredibly useful and go very far.

A user interface could be built which lets one specify criteria such as:

• Trade Trigger or Condition - indicator value, alert, bar close/open

• Buy/Sell condition depending on direction of bar - e.g. buy/sell on close of a reversal bar on range X chart. Or, for instance, on bar close set a limit order x ticks from bar close.

• Only buy or only sell when certain conditions are present. Many trading systems have a "semi-automatic" function where the user can either manually toggle on/off with a hotkey or specify conditions as to when the system is allowed to take only long trades, short trades, or both.

Either in the same interface or as part of the SL/TP settings, there should also be the ability to prescribe stops/trailing stops according to prior/current bar open/close. This would be very useful, for instance, with range or other trend following charts where an initial stop could be set to the current bar's open, then trail to subsequent bars as they form.
