Right now you have chart type such as bar, candles, heikin-ashi, etc.
It would be nice to have more chart types, so users can have more options to select from. Here are some other examples…
This type of chart allows for a visual assessment of the volume of trades for each candle. These are still candlesticks, but the width of each candle depends on the volume of trades during the period of formation of this candle. The greater the trading volume during the formation period of the candle, the larger the width of the candle. https://www.tradingview.com/support/solutions/43000724995-volume-candles/
The step line chart is a type of line chart, but unlike the original line chart, it has a ladder-like kind of visualization. Here, data points are linked with horizontal and vertical lines creating steps that represent the price for a specific time interval. https://www.tradingview.com/support/solutions/43000745272/
This chart type is based on three price values: High, Low and Close. It allows you to focus on the most important data and disregard the open price value that is less significant for analysis. https://www.tradingview.com/support/solutions/43000709062/
High-low - is the chart style that displays the range of price change on each bar. https://www.tradingview.com/support/solutions/43000677196-high-low/
