Let's say you own stocks in a company, and that company announces a stock split (for example, a 2-for-1 split), which means each share you own will now become two shares. In this scenario, the price per share that you originally owned may change. If the stock price of this company is $100 per share and it undergoes a 2:1 stock split, then after the split, the price per share may be adjusted to $50 to reflect the value of each share after the split.
Here, B-adj (or a similar marker) may be used to indicate the price that has been adjusted according to the split. So, if the price of a stock was $100 before the split, it might be adjusted to $50 after the split, and this adjusted price might be indicated with a B-adj marker.
You can see that the ATAS chart has a very high gap, which is different from the B-ADJ mode used by TradingView.
