Development of a native ATAS desktop version for Linux

Dear ATAS Support Team,

I am writing to share a suggestion and some constructive feedback regarding your platform. I would like to request that you seriously consider developing a truly native desktop version of ATAS for GNU/Linux systems. Hopefully, this would be a real native environment and not a virtualization-based solution, such as the Mac version where Parallels is required to run it.

I have been a Linux user for a very long time, and honestly, my only reason for booting up Windows nowadays is the lack of high-quality trading platforms on Linux. I know there is a native alternative out there (like MotiveWave), but I don't like it and it doesn't fit my needs. Furthermore, I have several friends and fellow traders who are in the exact same situation.

I am aware that the apparent market share for Linux in home operating systems is around 8%. However, I believe this is not an insignificant figure at all, especially considering that a large number of users (like myself) inflate Windows statistics solely because we need it to trade. If a native ATAS desktop version for Linux existed, we would make the leap and adopt it without a second thought.

It is also worth noting that this Linux market share is growing year after year, driven by the massive evolution of its desktop environments and significant technical advancements that now allow for previously unthinkable compatibility.

Having a platform like ATAS with a native Linux application would represent a huge leap in quality compared to your competitors, and it would guarantee winning over a large number of users who currently feel trapped on Windows out of sheer necessity.

I thank you in advance for your time and hope you can pass this suggestion along to your development team.

Best regards,
